Penny & Sparrow

Created in collaboration with indie Americana alt-pop duet, Penny & Sparrow, we crafted their one-of-a-kind signature bottle of whiskey. We begin with a bourbon made from 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley, then aged in charred American White Oak barrels. We cut this bourbon to 114 proof (57% ABV). After aging, we add a twist – an American Oak spire, seasoned and toasted, imparting sweet, creamy flavors, and notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and butterscotch.

INGREDIENTS

2oz 4 Grain & Maple
.5oz Creme de Cacao
.25oz Smoked Cookie Syrup
2 dashes of Walnut Bitters
Pinch of salt
Toasted marshmallow 

 

 

DIRECTIONS

Build in a stir glass. Then stir with ice until chilled and pour into a rocks glass with a large ice cube. 

 Garnish with a toasted marshmallow on a cocktail pick.

We distill and age all of our whiskeys true to tradition and at a minimum of three years.

Finished in Innovation

After aging, we finish our whiskey by adding a spiral cut piece of oak to every bottle.
